Hi All, I am in need of help on function domain, long division, slope and relations. Since I am a novice to College Algebra, I really want to understand the basics of Remedial Algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can begin reading the fundamental principles ? I have a class test next week.

I have been in your situation some time agowhen I was studying how to find a parabola on a ti-83. What part of subtracting fractions and linear equations poses more difficulties? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good software to help you understand the basic concepts and ways of solving the exercises. Did you ever use a program like that? I have tried several of those but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to think , it doesn't just give you the answers .

I must agree that Algebrator is a cool thing and the best program of this kind you can find. I was thrilled when after weeks of frustration I simply typed in matrices and that was the end of my difficulties with algebra . It's also great that you can use the program for any level: I have been using it for several years now, I used it in Algebra 2 and in Pre Algebra as well! Just try it and see it for yourself!
