Hi! Our class just started tackling a new topic in algebra about how to make a mixed number a decimal and I did pretty good for most homeworks we got but the latest one my teacher gave really hard so I'd appreciate if somebody would teach me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried solving it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t finish it with ease unlike the other assignments. I had an easy time answering my past homeworks but this particular assignment with specific topic of simplifying fractions gives me a hard time just discovering how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if somebody help me in showing the steps and how to solve it in a organized and clear way.

You’re not alone. In fact, I had the same problem just before I found something very helpful . Have you heard about Algebrator? If you have not heard anything about this excellent piece of software yet, let me give you an idea about this software. This is a software that helps you to solve math problems and at the same time you could learn from it because it displays a detailed procedure of answering the problem. It helped me in my problems in math and my grade significantly improved since I used this. Be reminded that it does not only show the answer but it helps you learn how to solve the problem that makes it very educational.

I used Algebrator also , especially in Remedial Algebra. It helped me a lot, and you won't believe how simple it is to use! It solves the tasks and it also explains everything step by step. Better than a teacher!

Please do not take me negatively . I am searching for no shortcut. It’s just that I don’t seem to get enough time to try solving problems again and again. I will use the software as a guide only. Where can I find it?

The software is a piece of cake. Just give it 15 minutes and you will be a pro at it. You can find the software here, http://www.polymathlove.com/fractions.html.
