Hi fellow students , I heard that there are certain programs that can help with us doing our homework, like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can help me with math? I have never tried one thus far , but they are probably not hard to use I suppose . If anyone tried such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Intermediate algebra now, so I've been studying things like simplify expressions with exponents and multiple variables and it's not easy at all.

Algebrator is a good software to solve simplify expressions with exponents and multiple variables problems . It gives you step by step solutions along with explanations. I however would warn you not to just paste the answers from the software. It will not aid you in understanding the subject. Use it as a guide and solve the problems yourself as well.

Hello, just a month ago, I was stuck in a similar situation. I had even considered the option of dropping math and taking up some other course . A colleague of mine told me to give one last chance and gave me a copy of Algebrator. I was at ease with it within few minutes . My grades have really improved within the last year .

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with greatest common factor, simplifying expressions and graphing inequalities. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
