Hello all! I am a beginner at manipulatives to teach adding integers and am just about to go nuts. My grades are going down and I just never seem to understand this topic. Help me guys!

Your story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was good in math for many years, when I began Intermediate algebra there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed very hard. I remember I got a very bad grade when I took the test on manipulatives to teach adding integers. Now I don't have this issue anymore, I can solve anything quite easily, even radicals and reducing fractions. I was lucky that I didn't spend my money on a tutor, because I heard of Algebrator from a student. I have been using it since then whenever I had to solve something difficult.

Algebrator is a wonderful software. All I had to do with my difficulties with linear algebra, algebra formulas and triangle similarity was to just type in the problems; hit the ‘solve’ and presto, the solution just popped out step-by-step in an easy manner. I have done this to problems in Intermediate algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I would confidently say that this is just the thing for you.

Interesting! I don’t have that much time to hire someone to tutor me so I think this would be just fine. Is this something bought from a store? Do they have a website so that I can see more details regarding the program?

Hey Friends, I had a chance to check out Algebrator offered at http://www.polymathlove.com/dividing-decimals-by-whole-numbers.html this morning. I am really very grateful to you all for directing me to Algebrator. The quick formula list and the detailed explanations on the fundamentals given there were really understandable. I have completed and turned in my assignment on simplifying expressions and this was all possible only because of the Algebrator that I purchased on the basis of your advice here. Thanks a ton.
