You seem to be facing a similar problem that I had last month. I too thought of getting a paid tutor to work it out for me. But they are so pricy that I just could not afford one. So I turned to the internet and found so many software that can help with algebra assignments on trigonometric functions, powers or geometry. After some research I found that Algebrator is the best of the lot. I haven’t found a math assignment that I can’t get done through Algebrator. It is absolutely unbelievable. Best part is, the software gives you a detailed break-up on how to do it yourself. So you actually learn how to solve it yourself. Isn’t it cool?
