Hello Math Gurus! I am a novice at beginner calculus + algebra. I seem to understand the lectures in the class well, but when I begin to solve the questions at home myself, I commit errors . Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my solutions checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step solution?

Algebrator is a good software to solve beginner calculus + algebra problems . It gives you step by step solutions along with explanations. I however would warn you not to just copy the solutions from the software. It will not aid you in understanding the subject. Use it as a reference and solve the problems yourself as well.

I found out a some software programs that are appropriate. I checked them out . The Algebrator seemed to be the best suitable one for perpendicular lines, radicals and hypotenuse-leg similarity. It was also trouble-free to manage. It took me step by step towards the solution rather than merely giving the solution. That way I got to learn how to explain the problems too. By the time I was finished, I had learnt how to solve the problems. I found them practical with Algebra 2, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra which aided me in my algebra classes. May be, this is just what you want . Why not try this out?

A great piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving relations, function composition and angle suplements. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 1. I highly recommend the program.

You mean it’s that uncomplicated ? Wonderful . Looks like just the one to end my hunt for a solution to my problems . Where can I get this program? Please do let me know.
