My son was in a major car wreak and was homebound for several months. I feared that he would fall behind in his classes. His math teacher recommended Algebrator, which literally took him through each problem step by step. Once my son was able to return to school, he had a better understanding of math then before he left. I would recommend this software to anyone!
Melinda Thompson, CO

What I like about this software is the simple way of explaning which anybody can understand. And, by 'anybody, I really mean it.
Perry Huges, KY

If you are having problems with algebra and you cant find a simple way to learn, you must try Algebrator, you will never believe what its capable of doing.
Dania J. Guth, KS

My son was always coaxing me to keep a tutor for doing algebra homework. Then, a friend of mine told me about this software 'Algebrator'. Initially, I was a bit hesitant as I was having apprehension about its lack of human interaction which usually a tutor has. However, I asked my son to give it a try. And, I was quite surprised to find that he developed liking of this software. I can not tell why as I am not from math background and I have forgotten my school algebra. But, I can see that my son is comfortable with the subject now.
L.Y., Utah

It is more intuitive. And it even 'took' my negative scientific annotations and showed me how to simplify! Thanks!!!

  • * Why is it important to simplify radical expressions before adding or subtracting? How is adding radical expressions similar to adding polynomial expressions? How is it different? Provide a radical expression for your classmates to simplify. * Consider participating in the discussion by simplifying your classmates¿ expressions. Detail what would have happened or if the expression was not simplified first. * Review section 10.2 (p. 692) of your text. Describe two laws of exponents and provide an example illustrating each law. Explain how to simplify your expression. How do the laws work with rational exponents? Provide the class with a third expression to simplify that includes rational (fractional) exponents. * Consider responding to classmates who have chosen laws different from the ones you selected. Ask clarifying questions of your classmates to make sure you understand the laws. Practice simplifying your classmates¿ expressions. * When solving a rational equation what is the first step we must always take? Illustrate with an example how you clear the rational equation of fractions. Consider participating by reviewing the examples
