Posted: Friday 29th of Dec 10:38 Hi gals and guys I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with how to solve complex quadratic equations. Could somebody out there please give me some advice with triangle similarity, graphing parabolas and graphing equations. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of mastering topics like angle-angle similarity or percentages quickly , please help me out Thank you for your time

Posted: Sunday 31st of Dec 09:11 What exactly don't you understand about how to solve complex quadratic equations? I remember having problem with the same thing in Remedial Algebra, so I think I could try to give you some suggestions on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should purchase Algebrator, that's what I did in my Algebra 1, and I have to say it's so cool! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can count on it anytime you feel like. It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever used a similar program. I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

Posted: Monday 01st of Jan 07:20 I didn’t encounter that Algebrator software yet but I heard from my classmates that it really does assist in answering algebra problems. Since then, I noticed that my friends don’t really have troubles answering some of the problems in class. It might really have been efficient in improving their solving skills in algebra. I can’t wait to use it someday because I think it can be very effective and help me have a good grade in algebra.

The one page formula list offered there has served me in every Algebra 1 exam that I have taken up in the past. Even if you are a newbie in Remedial Algebra, the Algebrator is very useful since it offers both easy and challenging exercises and drills for practice.

Posted: Tuesday 02nd of Jan 14:00 A great piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving decimals, converting fractions and factoring polynomials. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. I highly recommend the program.
