Hi fellow students , I heard that there are various programs that can help with us studying ,like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can assist me with math? I have never tried one thus far , but they shouldn't be hard to use I suppose . If anyone has such a program, I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Algebra 2 now, so I've been studying things like add/subtract and simplify exponents and it's not easy at all.

Can you please be more elaborate as to what sort of guidance you are expecting to get. Do you want to understand the fundamentals and work on your assignments by yourself or do you want a software that would offer you a line by line solution for your math problems?

I allow my son to use that software Algebrator because I believe it can significantly assist him in his math problems. It’s been a long time since they first used that program and it did not only help him shortterm but I noticed it helped in improving his solving capabilities. The software helped him how to solve rather than helped them just to answer. It’s great !

Interesting! I don’t have that much time to hire someone to teach me so I think this would be just fine. Is this something bought from a mall? Do they have a webpage so that I can see more details regarding the program?

Sure, here it is: http://www.polymathlove.com/fractionrules.html. Good Luck with your exams. Oh, and before I forget , this company is also offering an unconditional money back guarantee, that just goes to show how sure they are about their product. I’m sure that you’ll like it. Cheers.

A extraordinary piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving simplifying expressions, exponent rules and ratios. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
