Hello Math Gurus! I am a novice at beginner calculus + algebra. I seem to understand the lectures in the class well, but when I begin to solve the questions at home myself, I commit errors . Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my solutions checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step solution?

Algebrator is a good software to solve beginner calculus + algebra problems . It gives you step by step solutions along with explanations. I however would warn you not to just copy the solutions from the software. It will not aid you in understanding the subject. Use it as a reference and solve the problems yourself as well.

I found out a some software programs that are appropriate. I checked them out . The Algebrator seemed to be the best suitable one for perpendicular lines, radicals and hypotenuseleg similarity. It was also troublefree to manage. It took me step by step towards the solution rather than merely giving the solution. That way I got to learn how to explain the problems too. By the time I was finished, I had learnt how to solve the problems. I found them practical with Algebra 2, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra which aided me in my algebra classes. May be, this is just what you want . Why not try this out?

A great piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving relations, function composition and angle suplements. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes Remedial Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 1. I highly recommend the program.
